I have had two very successful voting tournaments in the past, "SSBM Fight" and "Best Video Games Series." I really thought DC vs. Marvel would top them both. There was a lot of excitement about it on the thread, and people were giving their suggestions for characters.
However, it didn't take me long to realize after starting it that its missing something. It hasn't been active, and no one has even posted on the Marvel subboard. I have a hunch about a few things, but I won't really know until I get some honest opinions about it. It is not your fault that it is not active, it is my fault.
Here are some of my hunches. I am thinking maybe its too many threads, and that having two subboards is probably an inconvenience. I thought it would help by keeping the boards organized.
Those are just my hunches though. But yea, please vote above and give me your opinion on it. You can make more than one choice on this poll if you think there is more than one problem.
Also, in addition to voting, it'll be great to give me your honest feedback on it. I want to make DC vs. Marvel easy, simple and fun so everyone can participate. Thankyou

I dont think anything is wrong with it, yes it is long but after the first round the threads will be cut in half. Thats how any tourny is, maybe this weekend it will get more responses.

Definitely too many characters/matchups. I guess I didn't really think about it during the nomination phase, but now that it's actually been made, I can see it. I voted in all of them, but I would not be surprised if the sheer number of threads/matchups is partly to blame for keeping people away.

I'm going to have to agree with Gold, here. I was going to get started on voting then realized how many polls there were... Less is more!

i added everyone's picks. Maybe I should streamline the process next time.
Also what I may consider next time is instead of having 1-on-1 matchups in the early rounds, I could have a free-for-all style matchups to where there can be three or more people in one matchup.
Example: Instead of: Round 1 (Wolverine v. Elektra)
I could have:
Round 1 (Wolverine / Elektra / Magneto)
three or more to a thread instead of only two. I could do that for the early rounds (when you have alot of entrants) and phase it to two to a thread in later rounds when you don't have so many people to vote for.
