Come on man, have a sense of humor! Don't edit/lock Bass's thread cuz it's using an awesome commercial! It's not spam, it's humor. And you say no spam! Well I think if you don't appreciate a little 'robot' you should crack down on the threads that go off topic as well (a ton of em).

I already stated that their are people that go off topic in threads so i don't even know why that's brought up again......but when making a thread, it's different, it's the basis of a discussion. You can go off topic to a certain extent just to talk about stuff...but those types of threads actually lead to discussions in one way or another...Topics like these eventually lead to discussions nobody in hell would even know where it goes...
Gold, a joke is a joke...but what about the joke you pulled on the Den? They can be over done with cough*serious consequences like deletions* cough. And about this "joke", it's not over done...but if i have rules on this board and i allow people to break them, what happens to the others who would see it, would they ignore the rules and post away? I can't allow people to just break rules...if u wanna put it somewhere than put it in the creative styles board as a joke...but none in here...
Last, the kid's got a voice of his own...you don't always have to speak for him...he's not 5 anymore...and speaking of robots...you do realize he just repeated the same thing you just said...

Bass can speak for himself, of course. He mentioned this idea to me and I was like "ha, that would be pretty funny... do it!" Secondly, even if I hadn't had anything at all to do with it, it doesn't mean I cannot voice my opinion. A single thread (especially a humorous one) harms no one. Also, you DO allow people to break/bend rules all the time! I don't see anything wrong with it (usually, heh) it's just that well all of a sudden you went all super cop on a single (funny) thread. That thread would have fit nowhere but in Suggestions. And now, an excerpt from the Annoucements "How to Post" thread: 3. You will then be sent to a message screen where you can type whatever you want to, as long as it's related to the topic. man, since when does it have to be related?  Haha...Well Batboy...you are the only exception  |

Well if you saw it, I think it would be pretty funny. One funny thread hurts no one, regardless of where it is. Maybe some time Bass can post it elsewhere or something so you can see what it was. But, regardless:
Since it is Pac Man's forum, you do whatever you think is right for it.
And to prevent this from turning into a big trivial argument, I will lock it myself.

Listen, i'm sorry i went officer-commando...but when i wrote that i was under a lot of...i dunno what you would call it...it's a mixture of things...I wasn't feeling well at all...i've been sick for a while and i have a fever, cough, nasal congestion, and the worst of all this backpain which is killing me...i woke up 7 times during the night cause i was so uncomfortable...so i didn't get a lot of sleep and i was frustrated with that...i guess i was kind of cranky when i wrote this cause of the sleep  ...but i had to get my frustration out...so i'm sorry for this... As for the staying on topic: i kinda got away from that as long as it was about something...i guess staying on topic will only be important if we get a lot more members...but with this crowd...it's alright... I appologize...i might be gone for a while cause i still have this back pain...gold watch MT for me... |
