I think that only Administrators and Global Moderaters should be aloud to post in the Announcement forum.
All others should post in the Chillout forum, or whatever it's called.
Just a suggestions, hence the forum I'm posting in.

That may be true, but if people are leaving for a couple of days I would think it'll be better and clearer for them to post in the Announcements board, but i do know what you mean. Announcements are there so the staff may update the members on something related to the site. But uh, that is Maka's decision on whether he want regular members posting there or not. So we'll have to see what he says on it.

Its a good Idea, I suppose, if someone has somthing important to say that'll effect the entire forum, but it could be missused (e.g. ''ZOMG EVRY1 HAS TO SEE BONZAI CATZ NOO!!!'', or to be serious, ''Ya I'm deleating my account now'' ). I don't know any other forums where members can make Announcements in a seperate board, but I guess it's okay since there is only fifty-odd members. If there were upwards of 500, say, I could see it being missused.

Again, we'll have to wait for Maka's word (and it may take awhile, lol)
But yea, y'all are making good points.

Actually i thought about doing that because these announcements were made for me to make announcements or mods to make announcements so i'll probably end up doing that. I never got around to doing it.
