Who here likes the Fall out Boy? I do. Ever since I heard "Sugar, We're Going Down", I fell in love with the band.

I don't like them. There are a bunch of kids in my school who dye their hair colors, wear torn up clothing, rubber bracelets, have all kinds of buttons and other apparrel and call themselves punk. When they go home they cry, cut their wrists and listen to Fallout Boy, Good Charolette, My Chemical Romance and a bunch of other pop punk bands that totally suck. Punk is just a word, you don't have to wear trendy crap to listen to music. Especially when you don't even listen to the music you say you do. Real punk rock is something that's basically dead.
Real punk bands:
The Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Queers, The Ramones, Pre-American Idiot Green Day (Not really, but still good), The Circle Jerks, Operation Ivy, Rancid, Bad Religion, The Misfits, The Stooges, Social Distortion, The Adolescents, TSOL, and the greatest band ever to grace this shitty little word: The Dead Kennedys.
I am sorry, but I had to express my extreme disgust for popular new music that claims to be something it isn't, like how a metalhead would flip at the mention of Korn.

Blah, I say I'm punk, but they kind of music I like is the Modern-day stuff, but I don't do all that crap, or wear punk. I don;t hink you have to look punk to be punk.  |
