Fort Minor: Music Was His Biggest Advantage

What's your Thoughts About Fort Minor's Music

You know i recently got his CD and he's pretty good. Well his music atleast. His music's excellent. Lyrically he isn't strong but he does have good concepts in his songs and the music is just really good. I think that's why he did well. But again, like i said, he's not lyrically strong but i guess when you have good music like that it doesn't matter. Considering i'm into rap i think lyrics are important. He had good meaning in his songs but his rhymes were pretty bad. Heh. That's just my opinion. What do you guys think about Fort Minor

Fort Minor isn't just the dude we all know and "love" from Linkin Park. It's a few others as well. This group of individuals aren't suppose to blow you away with deep lyrics and kick ass ryhmes.. He's made this group so that he can move forward in the hip hop part of Linkin Park. He wanted to focus more on the beats, rather than the "deeper" stuff he was doing in Linkin Park. Though, I never though Linkin Park was that deep, nor did I like the fact that he rapped too much, but he has a good voice to him.

Overall, they are pretty good.

One more time. The main singer/rapper, whatever, isn't named Fort Minor. It's a band. His name is Mike Shinoda [sp?].

I already knew his name was Mike Shinoda because he was from Linkin Park. What i didn't know was the Fort Minor part being a group. I thought that was his name like "Eminem, or Busta Rhymes, ect."
