depressing songs hmmm...probably every Linkin park song LOL! Please tell me it's because you don't necessarily agree with their musical style and not because you think they're lyrics are deep and moving...

No, don't get me wrong, I like them just fine. It's fine for parties, or the radio jams, but some people take them too seriously.

I don't listen to music that makes me sad. I listen to music to brighten my mood.
Also, the absolute best way to listen to music is to watch Youtube music videos on your Wii.

I listen to anything by Death Cab for Cutie (all depressing) or Mayday Parade when in a mellower/sadder mood.

LP Ain't emo. They're considered Nu-metal and Rapcore.
Well, a few depressing songs.
Linkin Park-Valentine Day A7x-I Won't see you tonight [Pt. 1] Disturbed-Believe Crossfade-Colors And a few others...Can't think of them, right now.
Thanks to somebody for getting me hooked to the first two of all those songs. >_>

Hm... well some of my "depressing" or "bad mood" songs have changed and I just have to let the world know:
The Beatles - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds Neil Diamond - Solitary Man The Shins - New Slang The Doors - Light My Fire (not really a sad song, but it's got a relatively mellow, melancholy sound) Three Doors Down - Kryptonite Guns N Roses - Ain't It Fun Guns N Roses - Don't Cry Guns N Roses - November Rain
I saved the best 3 for last, of course.

O: Don't get me started. I know she's not exactly that depressing, but Avril Lavigne's song; When You're Gone. Don't ask why. Either that, or probably Song or Suicide by HIM. Eh, I have wierd taste in music apparantly. I don't stick to one genre.

It's alright, I don't stick to one genre either. It's a lot better to have an eclectic taste in music, or so that's how I feel.

Ha. I don't stay with one music genre, yet, I won't go near any R&B or Rap, or anything similar. It hurts my ears... Seriously.
