I think everyone has a song where it just completely depresses them, or a everyone has a song they resort to when they are depressed. What song makes you depress?

To Be Free - Emilianna Torrini I Remember - Damien Rice Vienna - The Fray It's Cool, We Can Still Be Friends - Bright Eyes Everything I Once Had - The Honorary Title
Those are pretty depressing, for me. I need to chill sometimes, and reflect. Those are good.

Only thing depressing about it is that fact that they're getting paid to massacre music. Repulsive.

It has a melancholy tone to it, but it's about moving on and growing up. I don't see anything depressing in that. massacre!? Don't you love heavy guitar and bass riffs? The double base is annoying and there's nothing depressing about Metal music, anymore because they TRY to be dark, demonic, hateful, etc and to me at least, it looses anything that it could have had going for it. Metal is dreadful, to me.

I heard somewhere that she wrote that song about her Grandma who had a name that sounded like Umbrella, so she named the song umbrella and turned it into a gimmick.
